Origins | Documentary World Premiere of Pedram Shojai, Dave Asprey, Sara Gottfried, Mark Sisson and many more amazing thinkers!

"So many people are either unaware of the mounting damage to our health from the destruction of the environment or feel guilty that they aren’t doing better. Origins shines a much-needed spotlight on the root cause of our health crisis and, most importantly, empowers us with simple ways we can make a real difference. Bravo!"
Sara Gottfried, M.D. - Harvard-Trained Physician and NY Times Bestselling Author of The Hormone Cure
If you're like us, you're on a path to improving your health & happiness. As we ring in 2015, many people will try to make changes for the next year. No matter what stage of life you're in- we can all benefit from learning better food and nutrition choices, living more harmoniously in our home and work environments, have healthier brains by eating the fats that protect our nerve cell fibers, and seek balance with the technology that is here to stay in our society.

The Origins film speaks to all of these things.. and amazingly enough- it's free to watch...
South African filmmaker Mark Van Wijk and Pedram Shojai
during the production of the Origins film.
Created by a number of physicians, authors, scientists, and biohackers, it is the culmination of a decade's worth of research into the ways we can improve our health, energy and reduce illness amidst the complexity of the modern world.

The film starts in South Africa with interviews with San bushmen, who have a strong genetic and cultural heritage of being the main originators of our human species. The film weaves interviews with many of our health heroes- people we have learned a lot from through podcasts, books, videos, and articles, such as Sara Gottfried, M.D., JJ Virgin, Kim Walls, Dave Asprey, David Wolfe, Abel James, JJ Virgin, Jonathan Tillet, and Mark Sisson of Mark's Daily Apple.

Watch & Share Origins

Pedram Shojai, of Well.Org, is the visionary behind this film, which was brought to life by South African traveling filmmaker Mark Van Wijk. They have been generous enough to let us watch it for free on Youtube and it currently has over 215k shares! However, we don't think that's enough and want to share it with a wider audience of our friends, and beyond. The film will also be released on DVD in 2015, which I would love to have a copy of to share with friends. The film covers such a wide variety of topics that are all interwoven into the big picture of our health as humans, and as a planet.

"The great outdoors gives me energy - the earth and nature inspires me in my work and in my life! Respect for all is my only rule! People need to understand that they are actually a part of nature and my dream is for my work to bridge the divide that civilization and technology have created."
- Mark Van Wijk, Origins filmmaker
